Outside of a Coronavirus pandemic, we would normally recommend an in-person consultation be done with a qualified, compassionate trainer if at all possible. Generally speaking, behaviour should be seen in person in order for your trainer to provide the best personalized advice for you and your pet(s). However, we will use creativity, problem-solving, and modern technology to do our best to properly assess and evaluate problem behaviours and provide practical suggestions and solutions.
**Please note that the Manitoba government has advised Dog Trainers that we are only permitted to provide virtual consults at this time.
If you are well outside of our service area (which stretches from Elie MB to River Heights, including Headingley, St. James, and Charleswood), or if for health reasons it is prudent (or required by public health orders) to meet virtually, we are happy to arrange an appointment. Using modern technology, we can use video, Skype, FaceTime, Google Meet, or any virtual platform. to facilitate communication and to allow your trainer to see your pet's behaviour in action.
The cost for a video consultation is $65 (including GST) and must be pre-paid once an appointment for the call is made. There is a cancellation fee of $30 if the appointment is missed or rescheduled once it has been confirmed. Payment can be made through e-transfer or PayPal. Video appointments include follow-up by email to provide recommendations, resources, and opportunities to ask any additional questions.
Virtual consults can be booked between 9:30am-2:30pm, please email Jillian@PawsitiveCare.ca to schedule an appointment or with any questions.
Through video consultations, online chat, phone consults, and email follow up, Jillian can help you develop an individualized plan that works for your family and your pets. Jillian can help with behaviours such as:
