As always, we will wash our hands at the beginning and end of each pet care visit and dog walk.
We will maintain social distancing practices while out on dog walks, keeping 6 feet away from others during our walks.
Staff and clients will report to us any signs or symptoms of illness. Staff will stay home if unwell and we will not visit the home of a client who is unwell. Our staff will use the Shared Health MB Assessment Tool each day before leaving home.
Because our staff work independently, mostly outdoors, and usually visit homes when clients are at work or on holidays, our services are very low-risk for spreading illness between people.
Please notify our staff well in advance if you wish us to wear a mask when entering your home so that we ensure we have adequate PPE supplies.
Because we normally work alone, we do not require our staff to wear masks, but will accommodate for those who request it, pending mask availability.
We will continue to follow any and all recommendations and requirements set out by the Government of Manitoba and the Chief Medical Officer.
In order to use our services, we require that all animals are up to date on vaccinations according to their pet's veterinarian.
Exceptions are only made for puppies to young for specific vaccines, dogs who have immune disorders and are unable to receive the vaccines, or senior dogs who have had a lifetime of vaccinations and may have underlying health issues making vaccinations more risky.
Please speak to your pet's veterinarian if you have any questions or concerns.
