All dogs must be fully up to date on their vaccines, according to your pet's veterinarian, including bordetella (kennel cough).
If your dog is older and has a long history of vaccinations, your vet may deem it unnecessary to continue some vaccinations. Please speak to a veterinary professional to determine the best health plan for your pets.
The only exception to this is if the dog has an underlying health condition which precludes them from being able to receive vaccinations.
Please also note that during the warm months (usually between April and October), ticks can be active. We live close to Beaudry Park, which is a hot spot for tickets in Manitoba. We highly recommend treating your dog with a flea and tick prevention per your veterinarian's instructions.
Please ensure you are as honest and thorough as possible when you fill out our boarding and daycare questionnaire and during our meet-and-greet appointment. Jillian is highly experienced in working with animals with a variety of health and behavioural issues and may be able to help, or recommend someone who can. A health or behaviour problem will not automatically preclude your dog from attending daycare or boarding with us.
The more information we have, the better equipped we are to ensure your dog has a safe and enjoyable stay with us!
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, drop-offs and pick-ups will happen outside, in our fenced yard, to allow for adequate social distancing and increased safety.
